Obituary
Bradley Caires
July 11th, 1977 - January 29th, 2025
Bradley Madison Caires, 47, of Idaho Falls, passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2025, at his home.
Brad was born July 11, 1977, in Oakland, California, to Ronald Joseph Caires, Jr. and Robin Marie Isaacs Caires. He grew up and attended schools in Poyen, Arkansas, and graduated from Tooele High School in 1996.
On September 9, 2000, he married JaNae Lee Nix in Tooele, Utah, where they made their home for the next 17 years and raised their four kids.
Brad spent 18 years at TOCDF working for Battelle. He truly loved his job and enjoyed working. When he wasn’t with his family he was with his WORK family, he was loved by everyone on the base.
In August of 2017, he moved his family to Idaho Falls, ID. Saying it was the best decision ever made.
Brad was a one of a kind person. He had a heart of gold. He was kind and loving to everyone he met. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who was in need. Brad had a passion for motors. He was always tearing things apart to put his own unique spin on it, rebuilding cars, trucks and motorcycles. Brad was never afraid of a challenge no matter how big or small. He took on the responsibility of building his family’s home and running his own businesses. While doing that he was able to take care of his loving wife, and four beautiful children. He was a selfless man who always put his family above all else. He was a man who could go anywhere and make friends. His best friend was his wife, JaNae, they were soulmates from the start. They stayed by each other’s side through every challenge. Brad would always protect her no matter the size of the storm. They weren’t just husband and wife, they were each other’s greatest blessing, safe haven, and greatest adventure.
Brad is survived by his wife, JaNae Caires of Idaho Falls, ID; children, Jayden (Kelsey) Caires, Dawson Caires, Kennedy (Carson) Caires, and Emma Caires; parents, Ronald (Glen) Strickland; and his siblings, Kyle (Paty) Caires, and Andrea (Ryan) Woodell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Caires Jr.; grandfather, Ronald Caires Sr.; grandmother, Gail Stephenson; and grandfather, Richard Isaacs.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services.
