Obituary Caden Pickett
July 5th, 1994 - May 8th, 2023
Caden Dennis Pickett, 28, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 8, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Caden was born July 5, 1994, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Michael Scott Pickett and Dionne Moser Pickett. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He also attended Southern New Hampshire University and College of Eastern Idaho where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
On May 28, 2022, he married Heidi Vela in Las Vegas, Nevada. Caden and Heidi made their home in Idaho Falls where Caden worked as a case manager for Behavioral Health Crisis Center of East Idaho.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed body building, freestyle rapping, sushi rolling, gaming, collecting, and especially spending time with friends and family.
Caden is survived by his wife, Heidi Pickett of Gardena, CA; son, Hendrix Valentine Vela-Pickett of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Michael Pickett of Indiana; brothers, Cody (Emily) Pickett, Carson Pickett, Connor Pickett, and Cameron Pickett, all of Idaho Falls; and sister, Courtney Pickett of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dionne Pickett; grandparents, Dennis and Della Moser, Ray and Barbara Pickett; and aunt, Debbie Tompkins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services.
