Candace “Candy” (Ingram) Martindale, 73, of Ashton, Idaho, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Candy was born August 14, 1952, in Antioch, California, to Clyde and Marilyn (Jackman) Ingram. She graduated from Antioch High School. After graduation, she moved with her parents to Ashton, Idaho, where she made her home and lovingly raised her family.

Candy lived a life defined by faith, service, and charity. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served a mission in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia. She loved serving in her church callings, attending the temple, and participating in family history work. Candy quietly lived her discipleship of Jesus Christ through kindness, generosity, and Christlike service, leaving a lasting example for her children and grandchildren.

Affectionately known as “Grandma Candy,” she found her greatest joy in her family. Her home was a gathering place, always welcoming, and her candy and cookie jars were never empty for the grandchildren she adored.

Candy is survived by her children: Jorma (Jodie) Martindale, Jerah (Tiffany) Martindale, and Megan Martindale; her sister, Tamara (Michael) Ward; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Marilyn Ingram, and her brother, Corwin Ingram.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at the Ashton Spring Hollow LDS Chapel, with Bishop Brody Harshbarger officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., both times at the chapel. Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery.
