Carmen Spang
September 24th, 1965 - February 21st, 2024
Carmen Linda Spang, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 21, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.
Carmen was born September 24, 1965, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Norman Walbridge Spang and Clarice Ruth Knight Spang. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. She also attended College of Southern Idaho.
On December 15, 1989, she married Michael Edward Klotz in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. Carmen made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and was a mother and homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed watching M*A*S*H on TV, softball, horseback riding, 80’s rock & roll, and the color purple. She absolutely loved her dogs. She was a member of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Tribe.
Carmen is survived by her son, Seth J. (Ashley) Spang-Klotz of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Brittani V. Spang-Klotz of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Normandi L. (Steven) Spang-Klotz of Azle, TX; parents, Norman and Clarice Spang of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Debbie (Calvin) Sparks of San Antonio, TX.
She was preceded in death by her dogs Bruiser and Missouri.
Memorial services will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024, the church at 7118 South Ledge Rock Drive, with Bishop Miner officiating.
