Christine “Rose” Fleischmann, 81, passed away peacefully in her home in Everett, Washington, on November 14, 2025.

She was born July 9, 1944, as the second child to John Arthur and Viola Faye Wanstrom, and grew up on a farm in Moore, Idaho, with seven brothers and sisters.

She met her soulmate, Gary Fleischmann, in high school and married him during college on September 7, 1965. They were blessed with three children, Pamela, Angela, and Eric.

Rose’s family was her whole life, and she poured her heart and soul into making their lives wonderful. She had a large extended family and cherished spending time with her siblings, nieces, and nephews. She even helped raise a few of them. She was a beloved 4-H leader, scout volunteer, kid chauffeur, costume designer, highly requested chaperone for school events, and an incredible mom all around. Her next greatest role in life was as a grandma to her five grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. She spent many days taking them on adventures and trips, playing pinochle with them, and teaching them to devil eggs, make rice crispy treats and how to get into mischief.

She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Pamela (Darren) Oke; daughter, Angela Fleischmann; son, Eric (Airica) Fleischmann; grandchildren, Lauren, Kylie, Brandon, Aidan, and Errol; siblings, Valerie (Edward), David (Nancy), Daniel (Jan), Holly (John); sister-in-law, Sandra Hartwig; and over 30 nieces & nephews, and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; brother, Tony; and sister, Carol.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Woods Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services. This will be followed by graveside services at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, and a reception called “Cookies and Coffee with Rose,” which will take place at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. The family would like you to wear colorful clothing to celebrate Rose’s life.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a hollyhouseforkids.org, an organization dedicated to providing Christmas gifts to children in need, or https://gofund.me/cda229e43, to help in the search for Danielle Staley.
