Cindy Jo Bell

As a family, we are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our mom, Cindy Jo Bell, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on June 8, 2025. Cindy was born on June 11, 1957, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Delbert and Charleen Schmier. She attended and graduated from Bonneville High School.

In 1973, she married Kenneth Brown. Together, they created a family of five beautiful children. They later divorced. Cindy then married Ronald Bell in 1987; he was her best friend and soulmate. Ronald passed away in 2018, and Cindy continued to mourn his loss.

She held many positions as a hard-working professional housekeeper. She made friends with everyone she encountered. She had a spunky, feisty attitude that carried her through life. There was never a question of where you stood with Cindy.

Cindy loved her children and was so proud of all their accomplishments. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and took every opportunity to show them all off.

Mom, we will miss you immensely. You have been the glue that holds our family together. WE LOVE YOU MORE.

Cindy is survived by her five children: Jennefer (Jeff) Fried, Angela (Ryan) Peterson, Amy (Jake) McConnell, Bradly (Lyrissa) Brown, Steven (Kelsey) Brown; her sister, Tammy (Carl) Williams; her brother, Joe (Janis) Schmier; 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Bell; her parents, Delbert and Charleen Schmier; her mother and father-in-law, Marion and Bonnie Blakely; her sister, Terri Johnson; her grandson, Teegan Fried; and granddaughter, Jayde Fried.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2025, and one hour prior to the service, both at Coltrin Mortuary. Condolences may be sent online to www.coltrinmortuary.com.
