Cody Lee Benjamin

Cody Lee Benjamin, 28, of Idaho Falls, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

He was born on May 4, 1996, to Ricky Benjamin and Melissa Pirtle Benjamin in Jerome, Idaho. He grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and attended Skyline High School and Lincoln Alternative High School. He received his GED in 2014. On July 2, 2021, he married Addonna S. Olivas in Idaho Falls.

Cody lived in Idaho Falls except for brief moves to Utah, Wyoming, and Washington. He has worked at Odell’s Furniture Store for the last 2 years. He started with deliveries, then in the warehouse, and finally floor manager. Cody was in the addiction recovery community.

He loved to work on anything with a motor, he also enjoyed video games, and spending time with friends and family. Cody took pride in everything he did; he was a hard worker and would help anyone who asked. He was always joking around or seeing the good in things.

Cody is survived by his wife, Addonna Benjamin of Idaho Falls; his parents, Ricky and Melissa Benjamin of Idaho Falls; his son, Aerys Benjamin of Idaho Falls; his daughters: Alexa, Athena, and Aryuh Benjamin all of Oklahoma; his sister, Kahlee (Thomas) Benjamin of Idaho Falls; his brothers: Christopher (Sophia) Rhondeau of Idaho Falls, Zachary (Alysha) Rhondeau of Idaho Falls, Tony Benjamin of Washington, and Jason Rhondeau of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Benjamin.

A visitation where friends can share memories will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family says to please come as you are.
