Craig A. Landon

Craig A. Landon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Island Park, Idaho, surrounded by the peace of the place he loved most.

Craig was born on June 6, 1954, in Ririe, Idaho, to Alden and Betty Landon. From an early age, he was known for his strong work ethic, quick wit, and a deep love for the outdoors.

He spent his career as a skilled pipefitter and plumber, earning a reputation for craftsmanship and dependability. Beyond work, Craig was a man of many passions. He found joy in fishing the rivers and lakes of Idaho, perfecting the art of Dutch oven cooking, and cherishing time spent with friends and family.

Craig was a devoted husband to Susie Landon, and a loving father to his son, Kelton Landon of San Antonio, Texas; and a daughter, Jennifer Heiner of Midland, Texas. He was also a proud stepfather to Sam Long and Scott Long; and a caring grandfather to Taylor, Hayden, Carter, April, Gavin, Amelia, Gabriel, and Livia.

Craig’s warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private memorial will be held at a later date to honor Craig’s life. The family invites those who knew him to remember him in their own way – whether by casting a line into a favorite stream, sharing a good meal, or simply enjoying time with loved ones.
