Craig Lynn Caudill, 76, passed away at his home in Darlington, Idaho from an extended illness.

He was born on July 27, 1948, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Delbert and LaRae Mann Caudill. Craig was raised in Pocatello and attended Highland High School.

He was a welder by trade and worked for Simplot for many years. He also owned and operated McDermott’s Bar in Pocatello and made many wonderful lifelong friends.

On June 17, 2000, Craig married Debbie Ruth in Pocatello, Idaho. They made their home there until moving to Darlington, Idaho in 2012. They enjoyed being by the Lost River and the beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains.

Craig enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, woodworking, camping with his sweetheart, Debbie, his children, grandchildren and snuggling with his dog Molly on the couch. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved him for his goodness and smile.

Surviving is his wife, Debbie Caudill; his daughters, Shalane (Chad) Shirey and Lyndsey (Danny) Hulet; his sons, Mike (Kristel) Poletti & Rob Poletti; his grandchildren, Riley (Cam), Mackenzie, Emily (Zack), Leah, Owen, Tayson and Kyson; his great grandchildren, Cleo and Levi; his sisters, Delena Elison, Karla (Byron) Richards and Karma (Ron) Baker; his brother and best friend, Curt (Robin) Caudill; his brother-in-law, Elwin Christensen; his sister-in-law, Jennie (Floyd) and brother-in-law, Jim, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Little Craig and Willie; his sister, Dawna Christensen; his brother-in-law, Andy Elison; his granddaughter, Brittney and sisters-in-law, Carol, Patty and Tina.

A Celebration of Craig’s life will be held and announced at a later date. Arrangements were cared for by the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Arco.
