Danny B. Evans, age 70, passed away on January 1, 2026, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Danny was born on July 10, 1955, in Provo, Utah. He enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a long-haul truck driver, a profession that fit his hardworking nature and love of the open road. He was always known for his dimpled smile and full-belly laugh, which brought warmth, comfort, and joy to everyone who knew him.
Above all else, Danny was devoted to his family. His last words were about his family—how proud he was of them and how much happiness his grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought into his life. He treasured time spent with loved ones and found joy in the simple things: a good cup of coffee, football, and being surrounded by family.
Danny is survived by his children: Jenny Evans (Charles), Danny E. Evans, Sandra Sanchez (Daniel), and Tina Romo (Nick). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Rachel Evans, Dakota Evans, Dallas Dodds, Trinity Romo, Kelsey Evans, Kiara Romo, Kamia Evans, Taven Sanchez, Tristin Romo, and Addalynn Sanchez, and his great-grandchildren, Ember Evans and Laken Schiff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Shirley Evans; his brothers, Gregg Evans and Ray Evans; his sister, Sharon Rasmussen; and nephews and nieces.
Danny’s legacy lives on through the love he shared, the laughter he gave so freely, and the family who meant everything to him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
