Deborah Ann Goodman
October 8th, 1958 - October 7th, 2026
Deborah Ann Goodman, 67, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 7, 2026, at her home. She was under the care of Aspen Hospice.
Deborah was born October 8, 1958, in Morristown, New Jersey, to Richard Menagh and Patricia Ohlweiler-Menagh. She grew up and attended schools in Stanhope as the eldest of three brothers and two sisters. She also attended County College of Morris.
Deborah joined the United States Army in 1979. After honorable discharge, Deborah made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she worked as a deli manager.
She loved baking and spending time with her family.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Sarah (BJ) Southworth of Blackfoot, ID; son, Mark Goodman of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Andrew (Brianne Ellingford) Goodman of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Mary Jean (Terry) O’Grady of Hopatcong, NJ; brother, Richard Menagh, Jr. of Netcong, NJ; brother, James Menagh of Budd Lake, NJ; sister, Theresa (Paul) Williams of Chester, NJ; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael Menagh; sister-in-law, Barbara Menagh; uncle & aunt, Benjamin & Marjorie Jenkins; grandmother, Louise Menagh; uncle, Paul Sauer and grandfather, William Menagh.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. Inurnment will be at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot at a later date.
