Diana Field
October 4th, 1939 - February 15th, 2025
Diana Rose Field, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 15, 2025, at Teton Health Care of Cascadia.
Diana was born October 4, 1939, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Charles Howard Williams and Thelma Egbert Williams. She grew up with her mom, Thelma, and stepfather, James Vestal Empey. She attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. She also attended nursing school at Sacred Heart Hospital.
On November 4, 1966, she married Alfred Eugene Field in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Diana and Alfred made their home in Idaho Falls, where Diana worked as a nurse for thirty years. Following her nursing career, she worked at Melaleuca for fifteen years before retiring.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed camping, hiking, turtles, and collecting many turtle figurines. She was a voracious reader and made friends easily. She loved traveling with her sister.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Marci Caldwell of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angie (Dan) Anderson of Lincoln City, OR; sister, Pamela Levick of Pocatello, ID; sister-in-law, Colleen Williams of Idaho Falls, ID; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred Field; brother, Jim Williams; and grandson, Clay DeWitt Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Black Canyon Ward, 4459 John Adams, Idaho Falls, ID 83406, with Bishop Mathew Palmer officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery.
