Gary then moved to Idaho Falls, and got into radio. He worked at KGST in Jackson, Wyoming. Gary was an extraordinary athlete in his younger days and was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing his whole life where he made many lasting friendships. Gary and Linda had a very close group of friends known as the Gourmet Group. Gary and Linda had a cabin in Swan Valley, Idaho, where they enjoyed floating the river and fly fishing. Gary also enjoyed going to Hebgen Lake to a cabin with many of his friends.
Gary was not only a loving husband for 40 years, he was also an amazing step-father and grandpa. He had three grandchildren, Baden, Braily and Breyer that he loved and supported in all their life adventures. He was also blessed with being a Great- grandfather to two crazy little boys, Austin and Noy.
He will be dearly missed by many.
