Obituary
Gina Aikele Woodbury
August 18th, 1964 - April 11th, 2023
On April 8th, 2023, Gina Diane Aikele Lambert Woodbury was at her home in Mackay, Idaho, laughing and smiling with her husband Randy and his family when she suddenly collapsed. She was taken by ambulance to the Arco hospital and then life-flighted to EIRMC. Doctors determined that she had suffered a ruptured AVM in her brain and had sustained severe brain damage.
Being the amazing person she was, Gina was a registered organ donor. She had a rare protein that allowed her to save the lives of people who had been waiting a long time for a perfect match. She was on life support until April 11, 2023. With her loving husband and family at her side, she progressed to the next life where she was certainly greeted by many family members in what must have been a beautiful reunion.
Gina graduated from Butte High School in 1982 and then attended Rick’s College for one year. The following year she attended and graduated from Vogue Beauty College. She married Joe Lambert and together they welcomed three wonderful sons. Joe passed away in 2007. She later married Randy Woodbury.
Gina was a very talented artist and enjoyed needlework and travel. She was a loving mother and grandmother and could usually be found teasing and making others laugh. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by Joe Lambert (husband), Don and Caroline Aikele (parents), Bret Aikele (brother), and Bryce Woodbury (brother-in-law). She is survived by her husband Randy Woodbury, sons Reid, David (Pracilla), and Juel (Natalie) Lambert; Susan Aikele Hampton, Teresa Aikele, Donna Aikele, Valerie Aikele (Karl) Hall, Travis (Rachel) Woodbury, Lenie (Cole) Wilkie, Dusty (Whitney) Woodbury, Tina Woodbury, Brooke (Jess) Roberts, and Bridget (Cody) Mejia; eleven grandkids who called her Grama; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; her beloved dogs Alice, Mobbius, and Frank, and many cows and horses.
She always said her first priority in life was her dogs, her cows were second, and the third was a toss-up between the horses and her husband – but that could change in the blink of an eye!
