Jack Moore

Jack Munn Moore, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 27, 2024, at . He was under the care of Enhabit Hospice and his loving family.

Jack was born October 27, 1941, in Ogden, Utah, to Samuel Lionel Moore and Thora Munn Moore. He grew up and attended schools in South Weber, Utah, and Nyssa, Oregon, and graduated from Nyssa High School.

On September 12, 1959, he married Pamala Hendricks in Parma, Idaho. After Jack and Pam married they farmed with his dad and brothers for three years. Jack worked as a Manager for Sprouse Reitz for 16 years, and then as a bus driver for the INEL for 15 years.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Elders Quorum Presidency, 70’s presidency, as 1st and 2nd Counselor in the Bishopric, taught Gospel Doctrine, and was a Boy Scout leader. He loved the outdoors, racing motorcycles, loved his side by side, and loved to go camping with his family.

Jack is survived by his wife, Pam Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Clayton Jack (Jena) Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Vicki Lynn (Kurt) Nielson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mark (Heather) Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter-in-law, Taya Lyn Moore; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Thora Moore; his son, Todd Moore; his brother, Gerald Moore; and his sister, Colleen Kesler.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Cedar Ridge Ward, 3195 S. Holmes Avenue in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
