Jazmin Carlson
April 29th, 1993 - December 6th, 2025
Jazmin Melanie Carlson, 32, of Rexburg Idaho had a cardiac arrest on November 26, 2025. She fought for 9 (10) days to stay with her husband and boys until she passed away December 6, 2025, in the comfort of her parents’ home where she returned to be with the one, she missed deeply, Grandpa Westwood. She passed under the care of Oakstone Hospice and family.
Jazmin was born in Rexburg, Idaho, on April 29, 1993, to Corey Bruce Casper and Cecilia (Westwood) Casper. She attended schools in Idaho, and Utah, attending Hillcrest High school and Lincoln High school in Idaho falls then graduated with her GED. She continued her education by starting beauty school and also doing an eyelash extension course with her sister Shulese.
Jazmin and Donny were married in sugar city on February 6, 2021, with this union they brought their two beautiful boys into the world, James and Ray
Jazmin loved helping people and she loved unconditionally without judgment. She loved her dogs, camping, being around her friends and family, but most of all, she had the most beautiful strong love for her husband and boys.
Jazmin was extremely talented and loved to help people. When she was younger, she would spend hours in the shop helping her dad, she had a dream of fixing up the old 67 mustang, and she loved old lifted ford trucks. She loved to make things. She loved using her cricket to make different designs for shirts and cups,
Jazmin is survived by her husband Don David Scott Carlson, her two children, James Scott Carlson and Raelyn Michael Carlson, her parents Corey Bruce Casper and Cecilia (Westwood) Casper, three siblings Shulese(Branden) Volmer, Justin Casper, Samantha Casper, nieces and nephews Branese Volmer, Olive Volmer, and Cylas Casper and grandparents Kathie Westwood, Bruce and JoAnn Casper, Linda and Carey Henry, David and Stacey Kay, and her great grandparents Clifford James Kay, Eleen and Merlin Reusser as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa James Westwood, Lyle J. and Darlene Kae Lowder, Ray and Norma Westwood, Byron and Gertrude Casper, LaVon and Opal J. Rowe, her uncles Aron, Andrew, and Ferron Westwood, along with her beloved dogs Alexa and Bravo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, LDS church 5 N 3900 E. in Rigby, on 3900 E and County Line. The family will visit with friends and family Friday, December, 12, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Flamm’s Funeral Home in Rexburg, and Saturday, from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. The burial will be in the Sutton cemetery out in Archer, ID.
Jazmin will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, compassion, and love for others will continue to live on in every life she touched.
