Jennie Grace Clark
July 3rd, 1932 - December 27th, 2025
Jennie Grace Clark, 93, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 27, 2025, under the loving care of Symbii Home Health & Hospice of Idaho Falls.
Jennie was born on July 3, 1932, in Ammon, Idaho, to Ronald V. Carter and Velma Priest Carter. She grew up in Taylor and Shelley, Idaho, and graduated from Shelley High School in 1950. Following graduation, she attended LPN training at Sacred Heart Hospital in 1951, beginning a career she truly loved.
On August 2, 1952, Jennie married the love of her life, Larry Elton Clark, in Ririe, Idaho. They shared 72 years of marriage before Larry passed away on December 11, 2024.
Jennie worked as a nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital and later at the Idaho Falls Children’s Clinic until her retirement. She found great joy in caring for children and took pride in her nursing career. She was also a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In retirement, Jennie enjoyed art classes at the Idaho Falls Senior Citizen Center, where she developed her talents in acrylic and watercolor painting. Her hobbies included painting, cross-stitching, and crocheting. She was an excellent cook and loved golfing, fishing, and camping. During the winter months, she enjoyed cross-country skiing. Even in her later years, Jennie remained active and healthy.
Jennie was an incredibly talented woman, with a gift for everything she tried. She is lovingly remembered for sharing her love of the outdoors with her children and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Clark of Pocatello, Idaho; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Clark; her parents, Ronald and Velma Carter; her daughter, Karlene; her son, Ben; her great-granddaughter, Sierra Karlene; all three of her brothers; and all three of her sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennie’s honor to Primary Children’s Hospital.
