Joshua Bret Parmer

Joshua Bret Parmer, 37, of Ammon, passed away January 3, 2021, at his home.

Josh was born July 6, 1983, in Idaho Falls, ID, to J. Bret Parmer and Tami Sue Tueller Parmer. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Idaho State University.

On December 4, 2004, he married his best friend and sweetheart, Hailey Leonardson, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Josh and Hailey made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Joshua worked as a loan officer for the Bank of Idaho.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two year mission in the Florida, Orlando Mission. He was also known as a Rockstar and loved Rock-n-Roll! He loved music and was a drummer in the local band, Peak Theory. He loved playing summer league softball. He was recently getting into riding dirt bikes with his brothers and dad. Most of all, he loved just hanging out with his wife and kids.

Josh is survived by his loving wife, Hailey Parmer of Ammon, ID; daughter, Taylor Sue Parmer of Ammon, ID; son, Easton Joshua Parmer of Ammon, ID; parents, J. Bret and Tami Parmer of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Tyrel Chance (O’Shann) Parmer of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Keegan (Hailey) Parmer of Idaho Falls, ID; grandparents, Brent & Kaye Tueller of Idaho Falls, ID; grandfather, Jerry Ned Parmer of Idaho Falls, ID; and parents-in-law, Terry & Lauri Leonardson of Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Ellen Parmer; grandmother, Mavis Hadley Smith; grandfather, Wayne Morgan Smith; grandmother, Anne Leonardson; grandfather, Elmer Leonardson.
