Kathleen “Kay” Ann Wiemer, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Kay was born on May 4, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard Carl Wiemer and Eleanor May Raymond Wiemer. She grew up in Bonneville County.

Kay was a woman of faith and a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls. She had a deep love for horses and enjoyed anything that allowed her to be around them.

She is survived by her children: daughters Lilly Kayann Reed, Ena (Devron (James)) Roseberry, Eleanor Leann Nygard, Linda Garza, all of Idaho Falls, and April Johnson of Boise; and sons Buddy Johnson and Travor Johnson both of Idaho Falls. She is also survived by her sisters Bonnie Hancock of Rigby, and Ann Schurtz of Fort Collins, Colorado; her sister-in-law Carol Wiemer of Idaho Falls; and her brother John (Heather) Wiemer of Freeland, Michigan. As well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous foster children she loved as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Eleanor Wiemer; her grandparents; her brother Richard “Butch” Wiemer; her sister Cheryl Wiemer; her brother-in-law Bernie Hancock; her sons Donald Warren and Robert Woolsey; her son-in-law Shannon Troy Reed; and her grandson Domingo Harris.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2071 12th Street, Idaho Falls, with Pastor Pay officiating. Inurnment will take place in the spring of 2026. Cremation is under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
