Kathryn Henderson
August 12th, 1925 - July 29th, 2023
Kathryn Moore Henderson, 97, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Hubbard, Oregon, at the home of her son.
Kathy was married for 63 years to Ralph D Henderson (deceased 2011). Kathryn resided in Idaho Falls for 58 years and was a primary school teacher there for 29 years. She held undergrad and graduate degrees from Brigham Young University. She and Ralph raised five children.
She was well known for her sweet nature and love of kids. In retirement, she served two genealogy missions to Portland, Oregon, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
She is survived by Frank Henderson of Hubbard, OR; Julie Antazana of Houston, TX; and Abigail Grant of Pocatello, ID; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, in Ammon, Idaho. Burial will follow at the Ammon Cemetery.
