Keith Clifford Wadsworth, 82, of St. Anthony, Idaho, passed away peacefully at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in St. Anthony, Idaho, on January 5, 2026. Born on August 26, 1943, Keith was the second son of Art and Lorraine (Douglass) Wadsworth.

Growing up in St. Anthony, Keith was rarely seen without his older brother, Fred. The two were truly inseparable—wherever one went, the other was close behind. Together with their father, Art, they helped build and sustain the Wadsworth Lumber Company, a cornerstone of the community that operated successfully for nearly 80 years. Their childhood summers were spent in the Idaho wilderness, moving operations between Island Park and Kilgore to harvest timber for the family sawmill.

In 1968, the inseparable brothers answered the call of duty together. Serving with the 116th Engineer Battalion of the Army National Guard, they deployed to Vietnam for two years. Their absence was felt deeply at home, both as beloved sons and as pivotal members of the family business.

An avid outdoorsman, Keith found peace in the Idaho landscape. He was a gifted marksman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quiet afternoons target shooting in the desert.

Keith is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Fred and J’Lean Wadsworth; his nephew, Larron (Tonja) Wadsworth and their six children; his niece, Deidre (Adam) Zick and their three children; and six great-great nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 East 1st North, St. Anthony, ID). A family graveside service with military honors provided by the St. Anthony VFW will be held at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
