Kelly Ron Rigby

Kelly Ron Rigby, 63, passed away in his daughter’s home in Powell, WY on January 30th, 2023. Kelly was born in Rexburg, ID to Gene and Zola Rigby. He had 9 siblings and grew up logging and started at the Saw Mill in his teens. He worked until its closure.

Kelly was young when he married Sandy Taylor in 1978 and welcomed Kelly Blake Rigby into the world September of 1980.

After his divorce from Sandy, Kelly met and married Denise Clark in August of 1984. They welcomed Keshia Rigby in 1987 and Kory Rigby in 1988.

After the Saw Mill closure, Kelly focused on raising hogs and doing odd jobs. Kelly and Denise moved to Wyoming for work in 1994. There he worked as a flagger and in road construction before settling in at WyoBen for about 13 years. Kelly and Denise later divorced in March of 2003.

In 2006, Kelly moved back to the St. Anthony area to care for his aging mom. Kelly returned to Wyoming in January of 2023 to be closer to his children.

Kelly proceeded in death by his father, Gene Rigby, Brothers Sherwin Rigby and Kevin Rigby. He is survived by his mother, Zola Rigby, sisters Julie (Dennis) Murri, Mickie (David Hamilton) Rigby, Tami (Brian) Warner, Fawn (Don) Whittaker, Robin (Brent) Klein, brothers Pete Rigby, and James Rigby, his sons, Kelly Blake Rigby, Kory Rigby, daughter Keshia (Josh) Rigby-Jacobs, and good friend Dale Buster. Grandchildren are Joseph Kelly Bird, Randy Rigby, Logan Rigby, Malik Rigby, Zane North, Davika Rigby, Zayden North, Athena Rigby, and Railyn Jacobs. Kelly had one Great Granddaughter, and several Neices and Nephews whom he loved dearly.
