Kord Brinkerhoff Dover, 37, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 3rd, 2022, from injuries received in a car accident with his fiancé, KayDee Jo Martinez.

Kord was born November 7th, 1984, in Billings, Montana, to Gary Lynn Dover and B’linda Brinkerhoff Dover. He grew up in West Bountiful, Utah, before moving to Lovell, Wyoming. He graduated from Lovell High School and attended Sheridan College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He later resided in Sheridan, Wyoming, before moving to Idaho Falls, Idaho. He worked as a Machinist in the fabrication and welding industry.

Kord was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a very strong spirit and testimony, and all who met him, loved him. He was an outstanding uncle and stepfather. A child at heart himself, he loved all children. His hugs were life changing! He loved anything outdoors, especially riding his dirt bike and camping. He took tremendous pride in his occupation and college degree.

Kord is survived by his loving mother, B’linda Dover (Brent) of Utah; siblings McKay (Michelle) Dover of Idaho Falls, ID, Lyndi Sue Dover of Sheridan, WY, Kira Marie (Patrick) Dewsnup of Fruit Heights, UT, and Samantha Breann (Jason) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; and grandfather, Floyd Brinkerhoff of Lovell, WY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Lynn Dover, grandfather, Donald James Dover, and grandmothers, Marilyn Dover, and Rosemarie Brinkerhoff.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. April 8, 2022, at 4363 East 17th Street, Ammon, Idaho, with Bishop Justin Bell officiating.
