Kyle E. Dayley, 84, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at his home. He was born January 27, 1941 in Archer, Idaho, the son of Eldon Enoch Dayley and Fontella Purser Dayley.

Kyle worked at Rogers Brothers in Idaho Falls, leaving to serve as an Army Medic from 1966-1968. He then transferred to the Army National Guard. Upon completing his National Guard service, in 1971 he returned to Rogers Brothers. He was then hired at Miles Willard Technologies as a Food Processing Engineer in 1975 and worked there for 41 years.

On July 31, 1968 he married Joyce Moedl. They welcomed five children: Kean, Matt, Alisha, Leslie, and Emily. Together they raised their family in Rigby.

Kyle was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a full-time mission in the British Columbia Mission. He Also served as a Deacon Quorum Advisor, a Gospel Doctrine Teacher, and enjoyed serving in multiple wards at BYU-Idaho.

Kyle is survived by his wife Joyce Dayley. Daughters; Alisha (Kyle) Martin of Rexburg, Idaho, Leslie Dayley of Taylorsville, Utah, and Emily (Jacob) Royal of Pasco, Washington. His sons, Kean (Greta) Dayley of Rigby, Idaho, and Matt (Eva) Dayley of Harriman, Utah. Thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Eldon and Gilbert; a granddaughter and two grandsons.

A memorial service will be held for Kyle at the Rigby 18th Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (4023 East 300 North, Rigby, ID), at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Interment at Sutton Cemetery in Archer.
