Lauriann Bartell, 55, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away May 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Lauri was born July 24, 1970, in Provo, Utah, to Stephen Gillman Burningham and Judith Adena Swenson Burningham. She was the third of seven children and was raised in Orem, Utah.

In December 1989, she met Michael Kenneth Bartell, and the two quickly fell in love. Mike and Lauri were married for time and all eternity on December 29, 1990, in the Jordan River Utah Temple. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith and family and were blessed with six children: Alexander, Joseph, Sadie, Matthew, Brett, and James.

Lauri was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a firm testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She radiated kindness and compassion and had a gift for making everyone feel seen, loved, and welcomed. Lauri could talk to anyone and treated every person as a child of God. Her life was an example of Christlike love, service, and strength.

More than anything, Lauri loved her family. She poured her heart into her home and into raising her children.

Lauri is survived by her husband, Mike Bartell of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her children, Alex Bartell, and wife Kaylie, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Joey Bartell, and wife Parker, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Sadie Bartell of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Matthew Bartell of McMinnville, Oregon; Brett Bartell, and wife Jordyn, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and James Bartell of Idaho Falls, Idaho, who is currently serving an LDS mission in Fresno, California.
