Marcus John Hopkins

Marcus John Hopkins, 47, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 9, 2025, at his home.

Marcus was born December 16, 1977, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Deborah Jean Sailer Hopkins and Gregg L Hopkins. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He attended Cloverdale Elementary and Rocky Mountain Middle School. He graduated from Bonneville High School. He also attended Idaho State University.

On June 10, 2000, he married Jacquie Lynn Felde in Idaho Falls, ID. To this union were born three children, Treysun, Trinity, and Taysia. Marcus and Jacquie were later divorced. Marcus worked as a Sales Operation Specialist for Western States Cat.

He was a member of the Elks Club, and Brick House Recovery. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, boating, and traveling.

Marcus is survived by his son, Treysun Greggory (Alexandra) Hopkins of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Trinity May Hopkins of Idaho Falls, ID: daughter, Taysia Renay Hopkins of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Deborah (Dan Parquette) Hopkins of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Gregg L (Laurie) Hopkins of Blackfoot, ID; and his ex-wife, Jacquie Hopkins of Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty May Sailer; grandfather, William James Sailer; and his uncle, Kenneth W. Sailer.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
