Marilyn Rudd Turman, 84, of Rexburg Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2021, in her home.

She was born to Earl and Elda Rudd on August 25, 1937 in St. Anthony, Idaho.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Marilyn loved her family and always sacrificed for them. She was an avid horsewoman and spent her early married life with her husband living in Jackson Hole Wyoming at Jenny’s Lake, working for Rudd’s Teton Trail rides where they took people on horseback rides and pack trips into the Tetons. She spent many years working at the Rexburg Livestock auction where she penned cows with her favorite horse Rip. She was very athletic and attended Ricks College where she loved to swim and taught swimming. She loved all kinds of sports and competed in women’s softball, pool and bowling leagues.

After the passing of her husband, Dale, Marilyn went to work for the Madison School District, driving school bus. She loved the children she drove to and from school and they loved her back. They even gave her a nickname, the Terminator which was a term of endearment.

Of all her loves in life, her love for her husband, children and especially her grandchildren superseded all. She will be tearfully missed for the short time that we as her family will be separated from her.
