Mary Colvin
August 25th, 1957 - April 21st, 2023
Mary Elizabeth Whitman Colvin, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 21, 2023, at her home.
Mary was born August 25, 1957, in Shelley, Idaho, to Evelynn and Rufus Whitman. Mary was the youngest of five and attended school in Roberts and Idaho Falls.
Mary had three wonderful boys, Jody, Jason, and Justin. She was only able to watch Justin grow to have a family of his own, giving Mary three beautiful grandchildren, Peyton, Sidonah, and Jaedrik. She was a proud, doting grandma.
Mary worked with the public most of her life and enjoyed being with people. Mary had a love of the outdoors and camping, often with her family and friends. She was a bright, loving soul who meant so much to so many.
After many years of living with pain and health issues, Mary joined her boys, Jody “Joe” and Jason, and her parents, Evelyn and Rufus.
Mary is survived by her son, Justin Lee (Lynleigh) Colvin; grandchildren, Peyton, Sidonah, and Jaedrik; siblings, De Haley (Arnie) Berggren of Idaho Falls, Richard Whitman of Idaho Falls, Clarence (Linda) Whitman of Idaho Falls, and Harold (Debbie) Whitman of Boise, ID.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
