Mary “Jane” Bell, a loving and vivacious mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at the age of 88. Born on March 30, 1937, Jane brought joy and laughter to everyone she met.

Jane was the beloved wife of the late Keith Sheldon Bell. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and adventure. Jane had a remarkable zest for life, known for her loving heart, infectious humor, and genuine enjoyment in visiting with others. She found immense happiness in the simple pleasures: the intricate art of crocheting, the thrill of traveling to new places, and most especially, spending time with her ever-growing family. While she embraced many adventures, roller coasters were one thrill she was happy to skip!

Her legacy lives on through her devoted children: Joleen and Ron Vanbibber, Jeff and Terri Bell, Kimberly and Ted Carlson, John and Tara Bell, and James Bell. Jane was a cherished “Nana” to her 24 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense light into her life.

Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith Bell; her dear daughter-in-law, Heidi Bell; her treasured granddaughter, Emilie Bell; and her parents and siblings.

A graveside service will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Jeff Bell, Ted Carlson, Nate Carlson, Whitney Pierre, Kevin Hansen, AJ Johnson, Josh Bell, Joel Bell, and Ron VanBibber.

Jane’s warmth, laughter, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank April, Bethany, Danielle, and Brittany with Aspen Home Health & Hospice for the love and laughter they shared with Jane over the last eight years as they cared for her. Their friendship meant the world to her. We would also like to thank the Gables of Ammon for taking such good care of Jane.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
