Obituary
Molly Jean Fischer
April 26th, 1991 - November 11th, 2025
Molly Jean Crandall Fischer, age 34, of Ammon, Idaho, died on November 11, 2025, in the presence of her caring husband, Jacob.
Molly was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on April 26, 1991, and was welcomed as an answer to prayers into a loving family. On November 2, 1991, she was sealed to her family for time and all eternity in the Chicago Illinois Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Molly was raised in Neenah, Wisconsin. She was a spunky, high-energy child with the cutest face. She loved scampering around, wearing holes in her pant legs, playing with animal figurines, and drawing on walls and furniture. She adored animals, but was deathly afraid of all insects. Molly moved with her family to Idaho Falls, Idaho, during her teenage years. She was always very socially-oriented and athletic with a focus on playing soccer, running hurdles, and singing in the school choir.
As an adult, Molly attended BYU-Idaho and ultimately found a career working at Infanger Insurance. She also had experience doing social media management and graphic design tasks and was skilled at learning whatever new things she needed to complete a job. Among her great joys were her cats, Bentley and Seámus. She enjoyed singing with her sisters, reading, gaming, photography, and exercise, as well as exploring hobbies like piano and flute.
Molly married Jacob Fischer on February 13, 2016, in Idaho Falls. They lived for a short time in Great Falls, Montana, and Rigby, Idaho, but otherwise lived in Ammon, Idaho. Together, they enjoyed motorcycle touring, concerts, family outings, camping, fishing, and hiking. Molly was adamant about scheduling weekly date nights, and she and Jacob loved spending time together more than anything else.
Molly was a devoted spouse, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She saw the best in others, was a sister to many, and openly invited people into her life. She absolutely adored spending time with her nieces and nephews and was always the favorite aunt in return. She gave generously and shared her beautiful smile daily. Until the end, Molly was unfailingly kind. While in the hospital for her eight final weeks, she was cheerful and optimistic, and she was shown much love in return. She had great faith in prayer and confidence in life after death.
Molly is survived by her husband, Jacob; her parents, Linda and Lyle Crandall; her siblings, Evie Navarro (Johnnie), Nathan Crandall (Jessica), Kendra Williamson (Ryan), and Nikki Siegel (David); as well as many nieces and nephews: Benjamin, Kiersten, Reese, Jonathan, Finn, Sage, Alice, Michael, Remi, Kate, Kenzie, Adaline, Oliver, Teddy, and Baby Jean. She is also survived by her biological siblings, Sarah Lindsey, Savannah Lindsey, Anna Ogburn, and Ethan Ogburn. Also grieving her loss is her family by marriage: parents, Ann and Bill Fischer; siblings, Melissa, W. Forrest (Kristi), and Maggie; and the Fischer nieces and nephews.
