Nadine Wells
March 8th, 1957 - November 30th, 2023
In the early afternoon of November 30th, 2023 our precious mom and grandma, Nadine Wells of Idaho Falls, passed away at the home of her daughter, following a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born March 8th, 1957 in Idaho Falls, ID to Robert and Vida Simpson, and was welcomed home by her 3 older siblings Craig, Kathy, and Christy. She attended Jameston Elementary, Shelley Middle School, and graduated from Shelley Highschool. While attending high school she worked part time at Arctic Circle.
On March 13th, 1975, she married John Wells in Shelley ID. They made their life in Roberts ID where they raised their 9 children. During this time she worked on the Wells Family Farm, and Roberts Elementary as a lunch lady. They were later divorced. She moved to Idaho Falls, ID and began working at WinCo in 2008, retiring 2022 due to health issues.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, Hallmark movies, shopping, puzzles, baking, and working in her yard and flower beds.
Nadine is survived by her daughters Kimberly Poole of Rigby, ID, Becca (Russ) Grow of Ammon, ID, sons Dustin Wells of Idaho Falls, ID, Kade (Amanda) Wells of Rigby ID, Scott (Jessy) Wells of Rigby, ID, Stephen Wells of Idaho Falls, ID, and Mike Davis of Idaho Falls, ID.
Brother Craig (Shelley) Simpson of Idaho Falls, ID. Sister Christy Lingle of Lake City, PA.
29 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Nadine is preceded in death by her sons Patrick Wells, and Wyatt Wells son-in-law Corey Poole, and ex-husband John Wells; her parents Robert and Vida Simpson, her sister Kathy Everrett, 2 nieces and a nephew.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 6th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Labelle Church (4223 E 528 N Rigby ID 83442). The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
The family will receive friends Tuesday December 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home Rigby ID (101 W Main St Rigby ID 83442).
The Family expresses appreciation to Corina and the staff at One Source Home Health and Hospice, The doctors and Staff of Teton Cancer Institute, Dr Poston and Staff at Pain and Spine Specialists of Idaho, Jeff and Tiffany Grover, and many others for their kindness, care and compassion.
