Penny Allison Harmon Schwicht, a beacon of kindness and boundless love, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by her devoted family. She was born on March 29, 1964, in Manhattan Beach, California.

Penny’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved daughters. She was known for her incredibly kind and loving spirit, always finding ways to serve those around her with a generous heart. Her radiant personality brought warmth and comfort to everyone she met.

A true Californian at heart, Penny cherished her time at the beach, finding peace and happiness by the ocean’s calming embrace. Her nurturing spirit extended to the kitchen, where she cultivated a deep passion for cooking and baking, especially making pies that delighted countless gatherings. These culinary creations were more than just food; they were a way she shared her love, fostering warmth and creating cherished memories with family and friends around the table.

Beyond her remarkable kindness, Penny possessed a unique gift for art and creativity, often transforming ordinary items into beautiful, whimsical pieces. Her artistic eye and creative spirit brought beauty and joy into the lives of those around her.

Penny is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edgar Allen Harmon and Bonnie Rae Harmon, and her sister, Shelly Harmon.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Amanda Schwicht and Heidi Butler, and her favorite son-in-law, Colby Butler. She also leaves behind her siblings and their spouses, Doug and Linda Harmon, Sandy and Dan Thomas, Peggy and Mark Steele, Margie and Terry Lisonbee, David and Dodie Harmon, Kelly and Julia Harmon, and Kevin and Ellen Harmon, along with a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss her gentle presence.
