Priscilla Ann Skaar Rainey
February 22nd, 1946 - August 16th, 2026
Priscilla Ann Skaar Rainey, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 16, 2026, at St. Mark’s Hospital in Murray, Utah.
Priscilla was born February 22, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Albert Bernard Skaar and Twila Paesl Skaar. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School where she was a member of the pep club.
On April 27, 1963, she married Gary W. Rainey in Idaho Falls. Priscilla and Gary made their home in Idaho Falls where Priscilla worked as a lab tech at Intermountain Canola.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, crocheting, camping, fishing, and her phone.
Priscilla is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gary W. Rainey of Idaho Falls, ID; sons, Troy (Tori) Rainey, Wade (DeAnn) Rainey, and Greg (Maria) Rainey, all of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Keith (Jane) Skaar of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Debbie Clements of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Rick (Denise) Skaar of Idaho Falls, ID; sister-in-law, Juanita Webster of Rigby, ID; daughter-in-law, Penny Rainey of Idaho Falls, ID; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Twila Skaar; brothers, Roger Skaar and Alan Skaar; brother-in-law, Dale Clements; and sisters-in-law, Cherie Skaar, and Laurie Skaar.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 455 W. Sunnyside Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
