Randall “The Kidd” Douglas Hensley passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, with his daughter, Kamie Shyann Baker, cuddled next to him. “The Kidd” was born December 8, 1967, in Gastonia, NC to Harold Burton Hensley Sr. and Gaye Jones Klingler. His family moved to Parker, Idaho in June, 1969. Randy attended Parker-Egin Elementary School and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1986. In Randy’s younger years, he played basketball and baseball with youth teams and traveled around Southeast Idaho. “The Kidd” learned to “party” as a young teenager. Once he discovered that, it became a natural, ongoing part of his life. His dad moved back to NC in 1990, and soon after, Randy followed. He and dad worked for Ashley Arms for several years. Shortly after, Randy met and married the love of his life, Kimberly Mosteller Clubb. They had one daughter together, Kamie Shyann Hensley Baker. They later divorced. Randy grew up fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He spent many weekends at the west end of Island Park Reservoir.

Randy coached Kamie in T-ball. As a family, they loved going to Nascar races around the South with Brett Cornelison and others. During his last 20 years, he and his best friend Jeri Enix loved boating, sun bathing and building a beautiful yard and garden together. Randy spent many hours that turned into years down on the hunting land with his other best friend, Johnny Mosteller.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Kamie Shyann Baker (Micah), his grandchildren, Serenity Hensley and Elijah Baker, his loving mom, Gaye Jones Klingler, his siblings, Barbara Blair (Bill), Brenda Foster, Glenda Searle and Burt Jr. Hensley (Lani), 9 nieces and nephews, along with 14 great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind 3 very special, unconditional loving, best friends, Jeri Enix, Johnny Mosteller and partner in crime, Brett Cornelison.

Randy was preceded in death by his dad, Harold Burton Hensley Sr., his paternal grandparents, Robert R. McMahan and Jesse Lena Hensley, his maternal grandparents, Jess C. Jones and Dorothy Cockran Jones and his stillborn brother, Jesse Lee Hensley. He would never let us forget about his friends who passed too soon, Terry “Butch” Thompson and Ricky Hansen. I’m sure that was a special reunion.

We would like to thank VIA Health Partners and Doug and Kimberly Clubb for their care in his final days.

There was a beautiful Celebration of Life held by his daughter, Kamie, in South Carolina on the hunting land Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Randy loved the 4th of July celebrations, especially the parade and rodeos. We would love you to think of him this year as you celebrate.

We will be holding another Celebration of Life in Idaho on July 5, 2025, at the back of the Senior Citizen building in St. Anthony, Idaho. 420 N Bridge Street.

Interment will be at the Parker Cemetery following the celebration.

Randy found the perfect “rock” in S.C. for his headstone and had it hauled out here for that reason. It is beautiful! We hope you can come see it.
