On July 30, 2018, Reginald DeWayne Alexander, passed away unexpectedly at his home, due to heart failure, at the age of 49. Reggie, a.k.a. “Bam” was born March 15, 1969, in Alexandria, LA. He spent most of his youth in the Bay Area, with especially fond memories of his time in Richmond, CA.

On March 5, 1989, Reggie married Paulette Lemons, of Idaho Falls, ID. Together, they raised 3 daughters, Danielle, Shanice, Marissa, and a son, Marquel.

In March of 2006, Reggie partnered with the love his life, Jennifer Lee Quick, with whom he shared the remainder of his days. On August 8, 2013, they officially tied the knot at a small ceremony in Idaho Falls, ID. Together they reveled in the joys of grandparenting, while fighting for Reggie’s health and strength to return. They moved to Logan, UT, in October 2017.

Reggie was passionate about the things he loved, particularly his Oakland Raiders and the music that permeated his soul. He adored his children and his grandbabies, who lovingly knew him as “Grandpa Bam”. Each one of them believes they are Grandpa Bam’s “favorite”.

Reggie had a huge heart that radiated through his smile. His laugh was memorable and contagious, you couldn’t help but smile when he was around. “Bam” holds a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.
