Rose Marie Adams
October 11th, 1944 - February 9th, 2026
Rose Marie Adams, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 9, 2026, at Turtle and Crane Assisted Living.
Rose Marie was born October 11, 1944, in Delta City, Utah, to Robert Dalton Harris and Marie Augusta Schlegel Harris. She grew up and attended schools in Oregon and graduated from Corvallis High School. She also attended Brigham Young University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Education.
On December 15, 1967, she married Bruce Kent Adams in the Idaho Falls Temple. Rose Marie and Bruce made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Rose Marie worked as an elementary school teacher for Iona Elementary.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and sang in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She enjoyed and loved animals, scrap booking, garage sales, and music. She loved children, teaching, coaching, playing games, and spending time with family.
Rose Marie is survived by her son, Bill (Annette) Adams of Ammon, ID; daughter, Ellen Marie Adams of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Connie (Nick) Mainwaring of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Carrie (Kelly) White of Peoria, AZ; brother, Richard “Dick” (Nancy) Harris of Albany, OR; brother, Robert (Diane) Harris of NY; stepsister, Michelle Bussard of Portland, OR; stepfather, David Bussard of Corvallis, OR; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce Kent Adams; brother, John Harris; and brother, William “Bill” Harris.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
