Ryan Berry

February 29th, 1980 - February 28th, 2024









Ryan Richard Berry, 43, of Teton Valley, passed away February 28, 2024, from natural causes. With his passing, Ryan became a donor and was able to share the gift of life with others.

He was born February 29, 1980, in Pocatello, Idaho to Richard Dean Berry and Karolyn Rae Jackman. He was raised in Teton Valley and attended schools there. He graduated from Teton High School in 1998. Ryan loved baseball and basketball and played for Teton High. As a 12 year old pitcher he threw a no-hitter. He also enjoyed wrestling in his younger years.

After high school, Ryan started working in construction. He was trained as a tile setter and became very skilled in his trade. He worked in Jackson, Teton Valley and other areas in Southeast Idaho and Utah. He had the opportunity to set tile in the baptistry in the Rexburg LDS Temple. He also worked for a number of years with Crystal Clean.

Ryan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a avid golfer and loved to golf whenever he could find the time. He enjoyed children, he loved spending time with his nephews. He loved his family and they will miss spending time with him.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Berry and Karolyn (Damon) Allred; his siblings, Lindy (Jean) Joseph, Reggie (Emily Schaefer) Berry, Lacey (Franky) Castro; his grandmother, Ann Hurtado; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kent Jackman, Francisco Hurtado, and John C. Berry Sr. and Ardella Atkinson Berry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Tetonia LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the chapel prior to services.
