Ryan F. Emmitt

Ryan F. Emmitt ,43, passed away September 4, 2026 at University Hospital in Salt Lake City after a brave but short battle with cancer.

Ryan was born December 1, 1982 in Idaho Falls to Fred and Tammy Emmitt.

He was raised in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School in 2001. He went on to ISU in Pocatello where he earned his degree in laser technology.

His new employment took him to Las Vegas where he worked for Lockheed Martin and later for National Security Technologies.

It was there that he met his beautiful wife, Nicolette. They were married October 12, 2013. He completed his family with his new in-laws (who loved him dearly) and his 2 daughters, Riley (9) and Oakley (2).

Ryan loved camping, hiking, razor riding, traveling (always finding a new brewery), concerts and music, being a “girl Dad” and Mr. Mom.

He was very quick witted and funny, also a bit of a smart ass at times. He was a hard worker and was always willing to help others.

He was a devoted fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49’ers.

He is survived by his wife and daughters of Las Vegas. His Mom (Tammy) of Idaho Falls, brothers Russ (Tara) of Rexburg and Todd of Idaho Falls, also nieces and nephews and his loyal dog, Ozzy.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Fred Emmitt in 2018.

He truly was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle, in-law, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many. He will be deeply missed by all.
