Sandra Evans
September 4th, 1944 - January 21st, 2026
Sandra Evans, 81, of Ammon, passed away January 21, 2026, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
Sandra was born September 4, 1944, in Long Beach, California, to Simon Kennedy and Evelyn Stockton Kennedy.
On June 7, 1960, she married Kenneth Evans in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sandra and Kenneth made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Sandra worked as a salesperson for ESCO. After her professional career, she worked at IHOP in Idaho falls for over ten years, the remainder of her working years.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. Family life was most important to Sandra.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Evans of Ammon, ID; son, Dustin (Denise) Evans of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Julie McCarty of MS; granddaughter, Shelby Evans and family; granddaughter, Danielle Ezell and family; and grandsons, C.J. Herman, Jeremiah Bailey, and Seth Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Scott Evans.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
