Scott Seyfert

Scott Kelley Seyfert, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 6, 2026, at his home under the care of Brio Home Health and Hospice.

Scott was born January 22, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Everett John and Phyllis Marie (Oswald) Seyfert. Scott grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Skyline High School.

On March 9, 1973, he married Terri Ellen Jensen in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Together they had two daughters, Jodi Marie and Kelly Rae. They later divorced.

He was a member of the Boy Scouts and The York Grange of Idaho Falls. He enjoyed foosball, camping, dirt biking, and racing snow machines. He was a very skilled welder, backhoe operator and obtained his CDL. He enjoyed his work and was an Irrigation Technician working in various aspects of farm life throughout his career.

Scott is survived by daughters, Jodi Marie (Josh) Hatfield and Kelly Rae (Herb) Pollard; brother, Steven (Judy) Seyfert; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Phyllis Seyfert; brother, Wayne Seyfert; and his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Meals on Wheels at the Senior Citizens Community Center in Idaho Falls. The family would like to thank the Center.
