Shaunna Colby
February 14th, 1973 - December 11th, 2025
Shaunna Marie Peasley Colby, 52, of Idaho Falls, died December 11, 2025 of natural causes, at her home.
She was born February 14, 1973 in Idaho Falls to Robert Leroy and Linda Lee Williams Peasley. She grew up in, and attended schools in Florida, and Idaho. Growing up she travelled between Idaho and Florida, and spent the last 30 years living in Idaho.
On August 16, 2025 she married Richard Glen Colby Jr. in Lewisville, ID.
She loved coloring, watching movies, and spending time with her family. Shaunna was a loving wife and devoted mother. She loved visiting and chatting your ears off. She will truly be missed.
Shaunna is survived by her husband, Richard Colby Jr. of Idaho Falls; daughter, Tammy Peasley of Utah; sons, Travis Peasley (Baylee) of Idaho Falls, Donnie Peasley of Boise, and Damien Hayes of Boise; Step-son, Dillon Colby of Idaho Falls; step-daughter, Jasmine Garcia (Mauricio) of Pocatello, ID; a brother, Duane McMurphy of Idaho Falls; and 9 grandchildren.
Shaunna was preceded in death by her parents; Linda and Robert Peasley; and a sister, Suzie Williams.
A Memorial Service and visitation will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 3700 E. Lincoln Rd. Idaho Falls. Cremation is under the care of Coltrin Mortuary. Condolences may be sent online at www.coltrinmortuary.com
