Thomas Wade Caldwell
May 30th, 1952 - January 11th, 2026
Thomas Wade Caldwell, age 73, passed away Sunday January 11, 2026. Wade was born May 30, 1952, to the late Belva and Glen Caldwell. He was the fourth born of six children, two of whom preceded him in death.
Wade was a free spirit who lived a full life. He served in the U.S. Army, the Idaho National Guard, and the U.S. Army Reserves for several tours in many countries. He spent much of his life outdoors, hunting, fishing, and was his happiest in a saddle.
The center of Wade’s world were his two children, Dustin Caldwell, 52 and Stacey Jenks who passed in 2021. As well as his four grandchildren DeAnza Witherington, Dalin Caldwell, Kyndra Caldwell-Magaña, and Drae Jenks.
Wade was a warm person who always had a story to tell and a joke to finish it. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
A memorial will be held at the Holiday Inn and Suites located at 3005 South Fork Blvd. Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402 on Saturday, January 24, from 12pm to 3pm. All are welcome to join friends and family to celebrate Wade’s life.
