Tina Marie Welker
November 18th, 1967 - February 8th, 2025
Tina Marie Welker, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 8, 2025, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
Tina was born November 18, 1967, in Idaho Falls, ID, to Marion Kay Bybee and Penny Deanne Bybee. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. She also attended Career Beauty School in Rexburg.
On November 6, 1992, she married Reed B. Welker in Rigby, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized a year later in the Idaho Falls Temple. Tina and Reed made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Tina was a homemaker.
Tina was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved doing puzzles, scrap booking, and hair styling, but her favorite thing of all was being a grandmother. She could often be found at garage sales or shopping for gifts for her grandchildren. She loved her family and supported her siblings in all they did. She also regularly volunteered in the Grand Teton Relay.
Tina is survived by her husband, Reed Welker of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Marion Kay (Penny) Bybee, mother, Penny Deanne (Marion) Bybee; son, Keanan Welker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kaybri Welker of Idaho Falls, ID; brothers, Brad (Nicole) Bybee of Rexburg, ID, Jayson (Gabrielle) Bybee of Kuna, ID, Shane (Ivonne) Bybee of Kimberly, ID, Nolan (Jeni) Bybee of Rexburg, ID, Brett (Stephanie) Bybee of Kennewik, WA, Bryan Bybee of Rexburg, ID; sister, Kari (Ben) Eaton of Sandy, UT; and 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kenadi Welker; brother, Karl Bybee; and nephew, Jordan Bybee.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Edgemont Ward, 2025 Jennie Lee Drive, with Bishop Jacob Workman, officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, and Saturday from 1- 1:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wood Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
