Tyler Brent Davis

December 14th, 1993 - April 8th, 2024

Tyler Brent Davis passed away unexpectedly at his home in Aubrey, Texas on April 8, 2024.

He was born December 14, 1993, the third child of Brent Davis & Tina Johnson Davis. He grew up in Shelley, Idaho and was always active in sports. He was a natural athlete, playing baseball,

soccer, basketball, and his greatest love- football. He was always a happy, smiling boy and had a very outgoing, fun personality.

When he was in high school he was able to attend the FBI Junior Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He had dreams of going into the military then law enforcement like his grandpa, who was his biggest hero.

Tyler was a free spirit who loved mischief and motorcycles. When he graduated from Shelley High School in 2012, they held his diploma temporarily due to him and his friends jumping off the Shelley bridge commando. Luckily, he always had his family to get him out of a pickle and set him straight again.

Throughout all of his football years he suffered multiple mild concussions. During the end of his Junior year of high school he suffered a very serious concussion while playing football. This

tragic injury would turn out to be something he struggled with for the rest of his life. He was no longer able to play football, but after high school he was accepted into the Marine Corp., fulfilling a huge dream of his and bringing him great joy and happiness.

He went to boot camp in San Diego. After graduating from basic training top in his class as a Private First Class, he then returned for additional specialized training where he tragically suffered more head injuries and was given an honorable discharge under medical conditions. This was devastating to him.

Once back home he packed up his Harley and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2014 where he lived with his sister, Brittney, and her family for several years. Helping raise his three nieces and nephew gave Tyler purpose again and helped heal him. Those kids were his entire world for those seven years. Every day when the girls would hear the door open with him coming home from work, they would run to him so excited that he was home. All they wanted to do was be with him. His nephew looked up to him so much and loved just spending time with him.

In 2020 he took a trip to Alaska and asked his high school love Rianna to join him where they fell back in love. Six months later they were engaged, then on December 15, 2021 they got married in Belize. He loved his life with Rianna and their house bunny “Tom Cruise”.

He was so selfless, loving, and compassionate with everyone around him. He loved surprising his family whenever he could by showing up unexpectedly to visit. His outward appearance was of a big tough man, but we all knew that inside was this soft gentle teddy bear. He bravely put on a smile even though his brain injury always caused him great pain.

He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend. His infectious smile and giant hugs will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Rianna; his parents, Brent & Tina Davis of Shelley; his siblings Brittney Stohl (Steven) of McKinney, Texas; Travis Davis (Katie) of Lehi, Utah; and Bryan Davis of Shelley; and his grandmother Vicki Johnson of Shelley. He also leaves 2 uncles, an aunt, and his 6 nieces and nephews who he loved so very much, Cael, Ava, Payton, Zoey, Cal, &

Audrey. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Dave Johnson and his grandparents John & Marcia Davis.

Services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m at Nalders Funeral Home in Shelley. The family will meet with friends Wednesday evening, April 17, 2024 from 6-8 pm and before the funeral from 10-10:45 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Taylor Cemetery in Shelley with military rights next to his beloved grandpa.
