Verna Jean Comish

Verna Jean Comish, 76, of Grace, Idaho passed away August 4, 2026 at Eastern Idaho Regional Center. She was under the care of her family and Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Jean was born December 8, 1949 in Rigby, Idaho, to Robert Emery Anglesey and Verna Harrington Anglesey. She grew up in Othello, Washington and graduated High School.

Jean earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Idaho State University. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher until retiring in 2013. The most important things in Jean’s life was her family, faith, and horses.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, a sister – Roberta Sue Anglesey, and a daughter, Sharon Joy Reed. She is survived by her husband, Robert Comish and his children Robert Brian Comish, Stephanie Kay Dustin, Shannon Marie Hughes, Katherine Melissa Brunger, and

Brandon Dean Comish; by her sisters – Sharon Rae Jones and Loa Joy Anglesey; and by her children – Kimberly Sue Edwards, Trevor Robert Reed, Kelli Jean Reeser.

Viewing and visitation will occur August 13, 2026 7:00pm – 9:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Grace 3rd Ward. Services to be held also at the Grace 3rd Ward, 404 S. Main St., Friday the 14th of August. Viewing 12:00pm – 1:00pm funeral at 1:30pm. Interment at Grace Cemetery.
