NBC Nightly News Visits Field of Heroes

(POCATELLO) – NBC Nightly News is in Pocatello this week, shooting a story on Century High School’s “Field of Heroes.” Thousands of wooden crosses near the school honor the soldiers who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001. NBC officials tell KPVI that the monument is unique because it tells the human stories behind the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. They say the memorial is moving and “brings the wars home for every American.”
