“Crouching Tiger” Star Fighting Prostitution Claims
Feng Li/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Zhang Ziyi, the actress who gained worldwide attention as one of the female leads of the Oscar-winning martial arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, is now punching back against a full-blown sex scandal.
The actress, 33, has been accused by the Chinese news site Boxun.com of raking in $100 million by sleeping with powerful and deep-pocketed Chinese men, including disgraced politician Bo Xilai.
The actress is fighting mad. Her reps told E!, "The accusations made against award-winning actress Zhang Ziyi are completely false and defamatory. There is no truth in any of the allegations that have come forth, which are a result of calculated cruel intentions against a well-respected established actress. Legal repercussions are ensuing and these scandalous reports will not be tolerated in any way."
