Two Arrested After Hit and Run at Zoo

(IDAHO FALLS) – Two people were arrested Wednesday night after a hit-and-run at the Tautphaus Park Zoo. Investigators say a driver crashed a pickup into the camel enclosure near the Softball Drive entrance. Police later caught up with the vehicle at an RV park a few blocks nearby. Three people fled the truck on foot, though one got away. The names of those involved have not been released, but both suspects face charges of obstruction and leaving the scene of an accident. No animals were harmed in the crash.
