(IDAHO FALLS) – Less than a week after being rejected, the state’s charter school commission has approved plans for the new Odyssey Charter School in Idaho Falls.
Co-founder Carl Peterson tells Local News 8 that the school will give parents more choices about how to educate their children.
The school is set to open in District 91, but will allow students from around the region to attend.
Peterson says the curriculum will focus on project-based learning, though students will still be required to pass all state standardized tests.
