Labor Official: Pocatellans Earn 19% Less than National Average

(POCATELLO, ID) – Federal labor officials say Pocatello residents earn an hourly wage that is an average of 19 percent less than the rest of the country. The average worker in Pocatello earns just under $18 an hour, well below the national average of $22 an hour. Still, area management jobs earned an average of more than $36 an hour, while health care practitioners earned an average of more than $33 an hour.
